A Nutty Life

Probably about 6 months ago I was browsing on Pinterest and I stumbled upon information about how bad highly processed foods are for your body.  Now, I am skeptical about getting my facts off of Pinterest (although I trust them more than Wikipedia).  I started my research on “Real Food” Diets.  I think at first I was more intrigued with the cooking aspect than the actual lifestyle change it promotes.

As I read all the blogs, I really started to warm up to the idea that maybe what I am putting into my body isn’t all that great for me and with only a little more effort and time I could have food that tastes better and is better for you.

At first it all seemed a bit overwhelming (and it still does) so I thought I would start with something easy.  I chose peanut butter!

    I am going to try this! I’ve been making an effort to eat healthier but its been hard. You’ve inspired me to stick with it….and I appreciate you starting easy! šŸ™‚

      It is hard…especially when there is a McDonalds on every corner and a bag of cheese doodles is quick and cheap! I’ve noticed it is all the prep work. I hope this blog keeps me on track! I have faith that your Peanut Butter will turn out wonderful!!! šŸ™‚

    i’m definitely going to make the peanut butter, the moment i run out of my store bought supply. I love there is coconut oil as an ingredient. I LOVE coconut and use it when i can but has only the slightest taste of coconut but it is a wonderful ingredient.

      I love it with our popcorn. Didn’t think I’d be a fan, but I am!
